The Antica Dimora del Gruccione is an “albergo diffuso” + restaurant which is located in the historic center of Santu Lussurgiu, a town rich in traditions and history in the Montiferru, a mountainous region of the province of Oristano, Sardinia.

The “albergo diffuso” or “detached hotel”, has at its heart a house built in the 1700s and this “albergo diffuso” represents a project that has instilled life and local development to the town; the rooms are built along with the style and historic fabric of the town, the food that is served is made from the fine products of the local territory that raise and tend the land with respect and care and its staff is made up of young people who are prepared and passionate about what they do. Many have travelled the world but have decided to live in Sardinia and to see it and understand it better by living in a small village.

The Antica Dimora del Gruccione has been honored with the title of the Seat of Learning of the “University of Gastronomics” of Pollenzo and actively works with the Center of Environmental and Sustainability Studies ( CEAS ) of Santu Lussurgiu, It is well-known throughout Sardinia because their mission promotes tourism that respects the territory, its people and the biodiversity and ecosystem of the surrounding area.
