Il Melo Residence
At the edge of the city of Porto Torres, just where the road ends and the rocks start again, amid the scents of the Mediterranean scrub and the saline air of the Gulf of Asinara, stands Il Melo Residence.
As soon as you step through the gate, something changes: it might be for the white walls that welcome and protect the entire structure, it might be for the dedication and enthusiasm with which Laura and Nicola take care of the hotel, the garden, their guests, or maybe it’s because of the healthy essence of the iodine, but here it seems to breathe the atmosphere of a small world apart, quiet and pleasant.
The Melo Residence was born as a hotel in 2004, although its story begins at the end of the Sixties, when it was renowned for another name throughout the province as a dance hall. From that time the structure has been preserved and remind you of a house from the Andalusian countryside.
Over time, the hospitality project has expanded and today it consists of 12 very comfortable apartments (stove, terrace, air conditioning, wifi, TV, laundry, sunbeds and chairs on request), a beautiful garden where you can relax and have a chat or enjoy the sun and a private parking.
